Jodi Foord Conway has been working in the field of addictions for 20 years.
She is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Master’s Level Addiction Counselor. She is also certified in hypnotherapy and experiential therapy.
For her Certification in Sexual Addictions, Jodi trained with Patrick Carnes, PhD. She has been a consultant/trainer/facilitator for parenting groups, schools, business and community organizations. She has extensive experience working with Employee Assistance Programs and the Medical and Legal Communities. In addition, Jodi has been quoted as an expert in The New York Daily News, London’s Telegraph newspaper, Seventeen Magazine and various other professional magazines. She has appeared on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 and several other cable TV and radio programs.
She previously was co-owner and Executive Director of Northern Valley Wellness Center, a group counseling practice. She currently maintains a private practice, specializing in compulsive sexual behaviors, in Northern New Jersey and The Stony Brook Center.
